| Learning outcome/ competencies | Specific knowledge of how to manage agile or hybrid data analytics projects is a critical success factor in the global market. Knowledge and competent application of different project management techniques are basic prerequisites for the successful management of a project. This module will give you the opportunity to acquire in-depth knowledge of agile project management and associated work techniques for the successful leadership of a project. Working on a real project case will give you the opportunity to apply your knowledge and the acquired work techniques in a purposeful and targeted manner. The selection of appropriate software solutions, such as knowledge and document management systems, will support your project work and ensure the success of your project. The communication and application of creative problem-solving techniques promotes innovative thinking. As part of the module, particular attention is paid to value driven project management and the identification of customer value within a project. Upon completion of this module, you will be able to plan, manage and monitor value-driven projects with agile methods. Additionally, the students are able to use common technical solutions to support project management and to apply creative working techniques to generate ideas. The module provides intensive preparation for the Certified Scrum Master exam (Scrum.org) as it contains a Scrum student project in practice. |
