Study MPMD online or on-campus

You can choose from two options when studying the Master in Project Management and Data Science:

Be an online MPMD student

As an online MPMD student, you will take part in the classes fully online. The Online Master MPMD has the same qualification you would receive studying on-Campus, while giving you the advantage and flexibility of learning wherever you are in the world.

Each module (or course) provides you with

  • Real-time lectures with your professors from HTW Berlin via video conference, giving you access to the same world-class academics who teach on-Campus and their direct feedback
  • Self-paced online learning with readings, videos, exercises and opportunities to self-asses your learning progress as well as
  • Case studies in which you will directly apply your new knowledge
  • You will also have the opportunity to co-operate and exchange with your fellow MPMD students, be they online or on-Campus

Be an on-Campus MPMD student

For on-Campus MPMD students, classes are held on campus, online or as a mix of both, as the health situation demands. We’re experienced in providing a smooth switch between formats as needed. We and our students are getting really good at this! ;)

To ensure maximum safety for everyone, on-campus classes are taught to split classes (half the class size). This allows for ample space between students and complies with social distancing rules. A comprehensive hygiene strategy is in place at HTW Berlin.

No matter whether you choose to study online or on-Campus, with Corona restrictions in place or post-pandemic: We will always ensure that you enjoy the full learning experience during your studies at HTW Berlin. So join us at the MPMD study programme!

Doctoral studies (PhD)

Successful master students are also qualified for doctoral studies (PhD) at other universities and embark on careers in international research.
