| Learning outcome/ competencies | Students can identify the characteristics, reasons and objects of conflict and negotiation. They are able to differentiate between and apply various communication models and discussion techniques. Students understand the principles and goals of negotiations, and can implement acquired know-how on the planning and conducting of negotiations in conflict situations in practice. Having completed the module, they are capable of analysing and critically interpreting intercultural interactions. The depth of their cultural awareness enables them to avoid forms of verbal and non-verbal intercultural communication likely to causeconflict. |
