Learning outcome/ competenciesProfessional project management is of massive importance in today’s commercial and public fields. Increasing levels of inter-nationalization and international collaboration place high demands on project managers and project staff.

This module will introduce the key components of project management, the methods and instruments of international project management as well as basic project working techniques. The analysis of case-studies will ensure you acquire a firm grasp on technical and application knowledge. In addition, you will conduct several simulations of project design and steering which will quickly provide first-hand experience and a noticeable growth of your knowledge.

Upon completion of this module, you will be equipped with the current working techniques and capable of providing support in project planning and management according to current international standards of traditional and agile project management. You will be familiar with the particular challenges of the international project environment and capable of skilfully handling them.

This module is the first step toward your successful qualification as a Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) from the Project Management Institute (PMI) or as a Certified Scrum Master.
