Students are able to analyse the collection, processing and use of data throughout its life cycle up to its use in data-driven products and evaluate this on the basis of ethical aspects. They have a command of the necessary specialised vocabulary and the corresponding tools. They are therefore able to develop and implement well-founded data governance regulations in the corporate context that ensure the ethically correct, transparent and secure handling of data. They take into account legal, organisational and corporate requirements and ensure that they are implemented in accordance with the law (regulatory compliance). Students are familiar with the requirements for implementing different levels of data security and can explain these and make suggestions for their corporate implementation.
