| Learning outcome/ competencies | Students are able to use machine learning methods to process texts and, where applicable, natural language and know and understand various techniques for processing this data. They know the evaluation metrics for various NLP tasks such as entity recognition, text classification and relation extraction and can apply them. They can assess the advantages and disadvantages of different technologies for processing in these areas and interpret the results of NLP systems. |
